Yarma delighted with the hard fighting spirit of Yarmalight

Date:

Proprietor of FC Yarmalight, Mallam Farouk Yarma has expressed satisfaction with the level of performance displayed by his team at the 2018 Ahlan Cup.

FC Yarmalight gave a good account of themselves with a brilliant display in their 1-1 draw with Wikki Tourists at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

“I was impressed by the agility put in today (Sunday) by FC Yarmalight boys against Wikki Tourists in the ongoing Ahlan Football Competition taking place in Kano.

“What impressed me is that the squad is made up of 100% local talents, all of them born and bred in Gombe.”

“The team pulled up a spirited display, outplayed Wikki and were unlucky in the 1-1 draw. The significance of the match was such that if Gombe State should have this calibre of young talents then the future of football in the state is very bright.”

“With Gombe United on the verge of returning to the Premier League, local talents, they are in all teams, not only FC Yarmalight, should be exploited to form the nerve of the team in the future.”
