The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will be squaring up with the nine time African champions Junior Mena of Niger Republic in the WAFU U20 today in Lome, Togo.

It could be recalled that the Nigeriens last Friday defeated the black satellites of Ghana 1-0 in their first Group B match.

Speaking exclusively to www.footballlive.ng is the head coach of U-20 coach Paul Aigbogun on his preparedness for the next match as Niger Republic.

Winning games in a tournament, gives an extra drive to want to win more, which the boys are on that part of wanting wins to their credit.

Yes, today we will be facing our long time rival Junior Mena of Niger Republic , we are ready to approach them with all the seriousness that it needs in this match.

We are determine to win this match, knowing fully well that Junior Mena of Niger Republic having been a tough opponent to all they up square with in different competitions.

We cannot underrate any team in the group as far as this competition is concerned.

The former Warri wolves gaffer further said It is known that the Nigerian U-20 has a rich pedigree to sustain, with a past history of 7 wins as African champions and so is opponent too, that while we strongly focused to win this match.

The chief coach of the Flying Eagles concluded by saying we will take match against Niger Republic as serious battle and we will make sure by the grace of God on our side, by our strong winning spirit and the prayers of Nigerians we will come out victorious at the end.
