Date:

Super Eagles central defender, Kenneth Omeruo was handed a starters shirt as Leganes drew 1-1 with Valencia at the Estadio Mestalla.

The former Golden Eaglets star made his second appearance of the season for the modest side in the Spanish Premier League.

He was replaced by Raul Garcia in the 70th minute of play.

Gerard Gumbau drew the curtain raiser for Leganes from the penalty spot after the hour mark before Jose Gaya levelled up five minutes from time.
