Metu: Top two is the aim

Date:

Winger Chigozirim Metu has commented on the club’s mixed fortunes at the start of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

The Umuahia Warriors endured a difficult beginning to the campaign under the watchful eyes of coach Henry Makinwa.
But after two wins in the last three games, the speedster has praised the tactician.
“We’ve won two in the last three matches,” he told Footballlive.ng. “And that’s very important after the bad start we had.
“We’re coming together as a team and we want to finish as high in the League as possible. We want to aim for the top two in the division.
“We’ve improved, and a lot of that is down to the Coach.”
