I find pleasure in youth development football – Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi

The owner of Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation , the first Vice President of the Nigerian Football federation and chairman of it’s youth development committee.

Who spoke in an interview about the just concluded U13 Football Tournament in Lagos told NSM platforms :

Thank you so much and to everyone who contributed to its success, especially the Press (too many names but you all know yourselves). I must commend Channels Tv and Austin specially.

Yes and not just in this competition i think the Zenith/NFF Future Stars Project as well as diligent scrutiny by you guys is changing the game in that regard.
The same passion that made me set up Courage Education Foundation about 13 years ago and sending over 200 kids to school some having joined us in primary school and now graduated….care for the kids recognising most of life is about opportunity. I commend Eddie Murphy’s movie “Trading Places”

Our foundation is based in Lagos others can do theirs wherever is convenient for them. We are not precluded from going elsewhere but no such plans now.

It takes quite a bit to establish in a proper and sustainable manner. Many things to do before we get there but it will come, be patient.

I agree and must also say that many other states have youth programs that are very laudable.
I must specifically thank Frank for not only having me on his program but also coming all the way from Enugu to cover our tournament. Bless you
