Elijah Tamboo has reiterated that his Seychelles teammates must double up their efforts against Nigeria in the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday.
Seychelles will be looking to neutralize and minimize Nigeria’s midfield which is marshaled by Wilfred Ndidi, Oghenekaro Etebo and Ogenyi Onazi.
Another concern for Seychelles will be putting the stops on quick forwards Henry Onyekuru and Samuel Kalu.
“There is no doubt Nigeria is a good team with enterprising youth who have speed and fluency about them,” Tamboo told Footballlive.ng.
“Both teams know that three points will increase their chances of making it to the 2019 AFCON.
