Warri Wolves captain, Goodluck Onamado has vowed that his side will pick up maximum points when they entertain Rivers United in one the NPFL match-day 5 fixtures today at the Warri Township Stadium.
Wolves will aim to build on the valuable away point they grabbed against MFM FC in midweek as they search for their second win of the season.
The Seasiders have had a good start to the 2019/2020 NPFL season with three draws, one win and are unbeaten in four games.
Meanwhile, Rivers United have got mixed results thus far with one loss, two draws and one win, the 2-1 victory over former champions Enugu Rangers in midweek.
However, the long serving captain Onamado has declared he and his teammates are ready to put the Stanley Eguma-led side to the sword in Warri today.
“We need to start getting more victories and hopefully we can do that against Rivers United this weekend so as to continue our rise up the table.
“It’s been a great time in the league and the target is to consolidate our stay in the NPFL and then see what we can achieve as the season progresses.”
