Leicester City suffered their fourth straight PL defeat following Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
A double from Brennan Johnson (56′ 84′) decided the contest between the sides on a day Forest were without Taiwo Awoniyi while Emmanuel Dennis was an unused substitute.
The victory comes on the back of the win against Southampton and it further boosts Nottingham Forest’s survival this season as they climbed from 15th place – and 17points – to 13th spot with only their fifth win.
Steve Cooper’s side maintained their unbeaten run at home in the league, recording 3 wins and 2 draws, with the fifth best home record behind Manchester United, Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Leicester dropped to 14th place after failing to stop the rot which has seen them pick only three points from their last five games.
Wilfred Ndidi played the entire duration of the game at the City Ground while compatriot Kelechi Iheanacho was a second half substitute.
