Wilfred Ndidi Credits Enzo for Foxes’ Improvement

Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has attributed the team’s impressive start to the season to manager, Enzo Maresca.

Maresca took charge at Leicester in June after their relegation from the Premier League and the team is showing strong early signs in the Championship.

 

After seven rounds of matches, Leicester in second place, one point behind leaders Preston North End.

The 43 year-old Italian manager has introduced a new playing style that has contributed to the team’s success, and Ndidi spoke highly of his influence on the team.

“He’s been amazing.” the midfielder said, about the Leicester City boss.

“He’s helping the team to be more together. If you have a look at the team, the way we play, and also the guys on the bench, we’re all together. He tries to make everything simple with the philosophy.

“It’s going well, and we’ll see where it takes us. Everyone is gelling so quickly. We all know what we want to do. We know what we have to do. Kudos to the Manager because he’s been brilliant since he arrived here,” Ndidi told the club’s official website.
