Wikki Tourists kept out of home ground for new NPFL Season


Wikki Tourists might play their first three NPFL home matches for the new season at a neutral venue, according to the Bauchi State government, owners of the club.

A tentative kick off date of October 20th, for the new season was decided, but the completion of the revamping work at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium is running behind schedule.


This has prompted the Bauchi government opting for a contingency plan in the advent the contractors fail to meet the deadline.


Addressing the players, midweek, Sports Commissioner Usman Mohammed Sale revealed Gombe will host the team’s home games, at least for the first three games of the 2019/20 season.
