Why Victor Boniface is a Wanted man

Since he joined Union SG in the summer, Victor Boniface has been a top performer in team; bringing goals, assists and his all-round play.

Boniface joined the Belgian outfit from Eliteserien side Bodø/Glimt where he had totaled 13 goals, 4 assists in 48appearances across three season.

In the Jupiler Pro League, His team are just two points behind leaders Genk, and are on a nine-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.

One of the major catalyst for that sterling form and success so far this season has been the emergence of Victor Boniface; he has been a revelation.

Not only is the 22 year-old a poacher, he is also an all-round team player and has a knack for scoring important goals in the league and in Europe.

The Nigerian boasts of 15 goals and 10 assists in 43 appearances at Union SG, and his performance in Europe so far just shows how much he loves the big games and doesn’t shy away from the spotlight.

He is versatile and plays as either the lone striker, a winger or with a strike partner as Union SG manager Karel Garaerts has come to realize the summer but can play anywhere across the forward line.

These qualities he possess have also not gone unnoticed, and Boniface is reportedly attracting interests from Italian giants AC Milan and Lazio, who will have to meet his club’s €15 million asking price.

Napoli are also reported to have indicated interest in the Nigerian, but their move for Boniface will totally depend on if Victor Osimhen leaves Naples.

With the summer window just around the corner, the interests for the Nigerian could trigger a bidding war and he is a genuine prize, a top potential as a world beater.
