Watford gave me Success – Ighalo

Nigeria forward, Odion Ighalo believes his successes since turning pro are tied to his time at Watford.

Ighalo admitted that the love and homeliness of Watford propelled him for the explosive breakthrough season he had.
The Striker netted 37 goals in his first two seasons with the Hornets before heading to China following a less productive six months where he struggled to find his footing.

 

Meanwhile, concerning Watford’s currently situation in the PL, the 31-year old says he hopes the Hornets can find the goals they need to stay up.
The Hornets are 19th in the standings after 26 round of matches and are almost condemned lose their survival bid.
Ighalo expressed confidence though that Roy Hodgson’s men can beat the drop, citing countryman Emmanuel Dennis has the quality along with other players in the team to help fire them to safety.
