Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores has called on Isaac Success and other players to show character and strong mentality as the Club battles in for survival in the Premier League.

Quique is still searching for his first league win following a 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.

The result has left them without a win in 11 games this league season (D5 L6), and are the second team in Premier League with that unwanted record since QPR in 2012-13.

“The match was very tough but we had an opportunity to draw it. When we are positive on the pitch we are a good team and we can compete very well.” the Hornets Manager said.

“I trust the players we have, some are coming back from injuries and others are tired, but right now it is about experience and managing our next challenges.

“We have positives, we are able to do good things but this does not happen for a full match.

“It’s tough for the players but we need to go for the positive moments and make them more.”

Watford are bottom of the table and travel to fellow strugglers Norwich City next Friday.
