Rasheedat Ajibade scored the solitary goal of the encounter against the Indomitable Lionesses to hand the defending Champions a deserved win at the Mohammed V Stadium.
“I’m proud of my team, ” Waldrum said after the game.
“The most difficult task for us is to get to this point. We had difficulties from the beginning, to overcome pitfalls. But the players defended themselves and found a way to win.
“Honestly, we are very excited to have qualified for the World Cup.”
