The Nigeria WNT gave their most convincing performance since the appointment of Randy Waldrum, in the 3-0 victory against New Zealand.

Despite the notable improvements in the team, Waldrum said that the team needed to work more on aspects of their game, describing Tuesday’s performance as mostly “lethargic”.

According to the gaffer the training camp will help the team work on tactics and the teams structure ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup this July.

“Next we go into a training camp prior to heading to Australia, that will give us a good chance to work out some of these things we talked about,” the Super Falcons coach remarked.

“The shape of the team, passing quality, and movement. We are much better with those things in this camp, but we must continue to work.”
