The Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn to face Sao Tome and Principe in the qualifying round for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

CAF announced the WAFCON draw last week, setting up an exciting match up between the two Nations, who are coincidentally battling in the Men’s tournament (AFCON) qualifiers.

The first round of qualifiers for the 2024 WAFCON is scheduled to take place from September 18th to September 26th.

During this round, Nigeria will face Sao Tome in their quest to advance to the next stage.

If Nigeria manages to overcome Sao Tome, they will proceed to the second round, which is set to be held from November 27th to December 5th.

In the second round, the winner between Nigeria vs Sao Tome match will face either Cape Verde Women or Liberia Women.
