Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse are working on signing Nigerian CB Valentine Ozornwafor.
Ozornwafor, 23, emerged as a summer target for Vitesse following the exit of Danilho Doekhi and Riechedly Bazoer Rasmussen to Union Berlin and Fiorentina respectively.
Their 21 year-old CB, Dominik Oroz, will miss pre-season and quite possibly a large part of the new season because of his conscription in Austria per Lex Lammers [gelderlander.nl].
Meanwhile, Sporting Charleroi are willing to sell the player on, but Vitesse are yet to make a offer despite the reported interest in the former Enyimba man.
Talks are still on going and both sides could reach a favorable decision for all parties involved but not earlier than next week according reports.
Valentine Ozornwafor signed for Sporting Charleroi from Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray last summer.
He played 18 games in the Jupiler League for the league for Les Zèbres last season.
Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho suffered a freakish accident during the friendly match against Brazil and could be out for a long spell.
