Confluence Queens booked a ticket for this season’s Super 4 play-off, the first in the club’s history and Head Coach Ogbonda White believes it’s a vindication of the club’s trust.

The team finished top of Group D with 11 points; one more than Abia Angels who were Managed by former Super Falcons goalkeeper Ann Agumanu-Chiejine.

In style they cruised into the title play-offs, following a 4-1 thumping of Invincible Angels on Wednesday.

“I’m very happy because Confluence Queen qualified for the Super-four bearing in mind that my coming to Confluence Queen didn’t go down well with some people in Kogi state,” White told footballlive.ng.

“Some people felt bad that why should they bring a new coach to the extent that they gave my manager very big problem but then at the end of the day, she has been vindicated.

“I’m very happy leading the team to qualify to the Super 4 for the very first time.”
