Samuel Chukwueze’s gradual return to action for Villarreal continued at the weekend in La Liga.
Chukwueze was a second half substitute for Villarreal, but the Yellow Submarines were sunk 2-0 at the Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday.
The winger didn’t make much of an impact, but truly the entire team struggled. Villarreal only managed a single shot on target in the entire game; Ivory Coast’s Serge Aurier with that stat.
