Villarreal CF have celebrated their Nigerian star, Samuel Chukwueze, on reaching his 200th appearance for the side.

Last month, Chukwueze marked this remarkable milestone in Villarreal’s 4-2 win over Espanyol. Becoming the youngest player to have achieved this feat in the club’s history.

In 203 appearances for Villarreal in all competitions, the Nigerian has contributed 31 assists in addition to 37 goals.

Chukwueze joined Villarreal through the youth team, in 2018, from Diamond Football Academy back in Nigeria.

Real Madrid and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in luring the 23 year-old winger away from Villarreal.
