Date:

The Brazilian born coach who has taken Nigerian as he’s second home has a filled day of shame as his first official assignment ended in a home defeat.

The head coach of the promise keepers did not find it easy as Akwa united narrowly lost to El-kanemi warriors  1 goal to nil on their home turf.
Speaking to our source is the foreign coach of Akwa United coach Raphael Everton who expressed his disappointment over his first match loss.
I was really disappointed because the boys played good football but we were not lucky enough to score goals to grab us a win at the end of the day.
Though it was a tough match, our opponent El-kanemi warriors were full of vigour and came all out against us.
Honestly the boys did their best in the field of play,  but at the end when we taught we will get away with just a point , rather than loosing it was the other way around, we totally lost .
We lost due to the over zealousness of my goalkeeper leaving the goal post to assume the position of a striker.
We will go back to the drawing table,  correct our mistakes  and do our necessary adjustments to avoid this unpleasant start for us.
The promise keepers gaffer concluded by saying we will get it right in our next match.
