Victor Osimhen Joins Belgium Jupiler Club, RSC Charleroi On Season Long Loan

Former Ultimate Striker Academy player has officially been shipped out on loan to RSC Charleroi in the Belgian Jupiler League as his parent club, VLF Wolfsburg are hoping he would gain valuable first team experience in Belgium.

The German Bundesliga club had tried previously to loan out the 19-year-old Nigeria striker to another Belgian club, Zulte-Waregem but deal fell through after the Striker failed to impress the team’s Technical Crew while on trial with them.

Osimhen as so far failed to live up to his immense potentials at the German club as his career so far has been blighted by series of injuries.

Since joining Wolfsburg almost two years ago, the former FIFA U-17 World Cup golden boot winner has made only 14 league appearances, starting on only 3 occasions but still yet to register a goal.

The tall striker who currently holds the record for the highest number of goals scored at the FIFA U-17 World Cup with 10 goals would be to get his career back on track in Belgium so as to fulfill his full potential.
