Victor Osimhen will play at Anfield this season, hopefully, when Napoli face Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League group stages.
Napoli were drawn in the same group as the 2019 UCL winners and it could be Osimhen’s audition for his dream move to a top English Premier League club side.
The Nigerian forward will require a big statement this season – and a major improvement from last term – to break into the league of the world class Forwards.
Last campaign he recorded 14 goals, 5 assists in 27 Serie A appearances to inspire his team’s return to the Champions League.
This season the 23 year-old has laid the marker with two goals in as many league appearances already and Manager Luciano Spalleti will hope for some of that form in the UCL.
Napoli were drawn in group A alongside Dutch champions Ajax, Liverpool and Rangers.
Meanwhile, the duo of Paul Mukairu and Akinkunmi Amoo and FC Copenhagen will face EPL champions Manchester City as well as Sevilla and Dortmund.
