A second half brace from Victor Osimhen rounded off Napoli’s 3-0 victory against Spezia in the Serie A on Sunday.

Osimhen scored in the 68th and 73rd minutes capitalizing on two defensive blunders, duly punishing Spezia at the Stadio Alberto Picco.

Earlier, Khvicha Kvaratshelia had converted a spot kick (47′) to put the visitors ahead, breaking the resilience of a stubborn Spezia side.

As the second half wore on, 24 year-old Nigerian forward was too hard to handle by the Spezia defence and his first goal was a header after a poor clearance.

He beat a defender and goalkeeper to the ball in the air.

His second goal was a set up by Kvaratskhelia, he stole the ball off a defender and teed up Osimhen, who was running free and knocked the ball into an empty net.

The goals on Sunday afternoon in La Spezia extended his tally to 16goals and 3 assists in 17 outings.

With the win Napoli thus stretch the points to 16 points after their round of 21 game.
