Victor Moses has added the Russian Cup to his impressive trophy cabinet which also includes an English Premier League medal, the FA Cup and Europa League winner’s medal.

Moses was in action for Spartak Moscow in the Cup final derby match against Dynamo Moscow on Sunday at the Luzhniki Stadium.

He played all 90 minutes and though goals evaded him, the 31 year-old Winger played a pivotal role for the team on the night.
But, it was Alexander Sobolev and – competition top scorer Quincy Promes – who both found the back of the net as Spartak ran away with a 2-1 win.
The Cup win was Spartak Moscow’s fourth triumph, and the next after 19 years, although they had reached the final in 2006.
On their path to this year’s victory, Krasno-Belye , won their first set R32 games against Lipetsk and Zenit-Izhevsk.
In the round of 16 Spartak won narrowly 2-1 against Sochi, next was CSKA Moscow whom they edge on penalties.
From there onto the semi-final and Yenisey Krasnoyarsk was their next opponent.
That game ended 2-1, which meant Spartak reached the final without losing a game.
Unfortunately, due to the International sports ban on Russia, for the war in Ukraine, Victor Moses and his teammates will not compete in Europe next season.
