Victor Moses puts fine touch to Spartak Moscow 1-1 draw against Leicester on return to England amidst transfer rumors

How often have we seen Victor Moses score with the head?

Not very much, perhaps being back in England set the tone for a enjoyable night for the Nigerian and he soaked it all in as did the travelling fans of Spartak Moscow.

Moses was back in familiar territory, playing on the lush, well trimmed green of the King Power Stadium, but not for any English team, the 31 year-old has been linked recently with a likely return to the PL and Antonio Conte’s appointment as Tottenham manager has something to do with it.
However, if those reports were supposed to put him under some type of pressure in the Europa League game, the man showed no signs of it.
Only in his first season after joining the club on a permanent deal from Chelsea, he has adapted.
His night was a whirlwind and fitting of a player with the qualities he possess.
A rare headed goal, several mesmerizing moments including the pure skillful displays, Moses dished his usual a’la carte.
For extra measure he put in some defensive work, but was let off the hook when a pull on Ademola Lookman that resulted into a spot kick was saved by Aleksandr Selikhov – Poor Jamie Vardy.
It was Moses who opened scoring in a game that petered on tenterhooks for the entire 90 minutes and more, and yet it didn’t disappoint despite producing just two goals.
Certainly, both teams suffered from some gilt edge misses and overall poor marksmanship, little wonder the two goals were scored by a LWB, who also hugged the LWF position and Leicester’s RCB.
Ghana International Daniel Amartey quickly brought the hosts back on level terms; seven minutes after Moses fired Spartak ahead.
The draw didn’t, however do any of the sides much good as far as the UEL is concerned.
Leicester and Spartak Moscow are both third and fourth, respectively, in the group and will require two big performances in the remaining rounds of games to determine their own fates.
