Victor Eletu was born in Lagos, a kid who grew up in the toughest part of town and had to sell Fish as a means to an end for his family.

A typical day in Eletu’s Lagos life would see him go from selling in the inner City and before the day’s end will join friends in the local pitches for a knockabout.

He was up to his usual routine, when one faithful day he was discovered by former U20 center forward Celestine Allele.

Allele took the young talent under his wings and within a year had transformed the Youngster into a major prospect.

Eletu would eventually join, where he honed his fundamentals as a Midfielder.

He would then move to Italy, as facilitated by Celestine Allele and during a local tournament with Cedratese Calcio; an amateur team, the Nigerian kid was spotted by AC Milan youth team scouts.

Victor Eletu was offered a contract by Milan in 2022 after an initial loan period, starting his career with the Primavera, and his growth has been steady ever since.

This May, the 18 year-old is set to debut for Nigeria at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina; he’s one of four foreign based players selected by Ladan Bosso for the tournament.

He is set to meet up with the rest of the Flying Eagles squad in Argentina for the FIFA U20 World Cup.
