Francis Uzoho was between the sticks for Omonia Nicosia on Saturday as the former Cypriot champions fell to a heavy 3-0 defeat to league leaders Paphos.

With the buzz about his spectacular performance in the Europa League against Manchester United all but cooled off now, Uzoho and his Omonia teammates returned to their struggles in the domestic league.

Saturday’s result means back to back defeats for the Nigeria in the League, but three on the bounce since their last win.

Two fine goals off the boots of Cape Verde star Willy Semedo (26′, 64′) and a penalty by Onni Valakari (60′) marked the post Neil Lennon-era.
