Super Eagles Head Coach, Gernot Rohr has hinted that third choice goalkeeper, Francis Uzoho will be in goal today when Nigeria take on Tunisia in the third place match at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Uzoho has not tasted action in the Championship, with Ikechukwu Ezenwa preferred in goal against Madagascar in the third group game.
Rohr said, “Uzoho is a professional, he played at the world cup and now he is on the bench, he knows he can’t play always, but he should play against Tunisia in the third place match.”
The 66 year-old tactician added that “Osimhen is young and he has so many years ahead, he will take over from some old players in future, but he will also play against Tunisia.”
Tonight’s game is scheduled for the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo, and will kick off at 8pm Nigerian time.
