Chelsea youngster, Tariq Uwakwe got one of the goals that helped The Blues’ youth team take a nine-point lead over Arsenal at the top of the U18 Premier League table after thrashing Swansea City 5-1 at Cobham Training Centre on Friday afternoon.

Chelsea established a two-goal lead after 27 minutes, with Charlie Brown and Conor Gallagher finding the net, after which Uwakwe fired home to extend the lead before Guehi ended the game as a contest with a fourth goal for the home team a minute before the interval.

Cooper grabbed a consolation goal for the Swans on 52 minutes before Marcel Lewis re-established Chelsea’s four-goal lead with six minutes left on the clock.
