Union Berlin manager Urs Fischer has backed Taiwo Awoniyi to hit top form for the club again after his recent struggles in front of goal.
Awoniyi has scored 14 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Union Berlin this season.
The Nigeria international has however managed just two goals in his last 10 matches for the club.

Fischer stated that the 25–year-old may have suffered from playing too many games in the opening months of the campaign. Awoniyi will be expected to make Nigeria’s AFCON squad.
