Several reports in Spain have linked LaLiga side Real Betis with a potential transfer for UD Almeria’s Nigerian Forward, Umar Sadiq.

Sadiq, 25, has been phenomenal for Almeria since his arrival from Partizan in 2020.
The Former AS Roma and Rangers player has scored 40 goals in 80 apps for the team and has brought them on the verge of LaLiga promotion for the second consecutive season.
This term He has registered 17 goals and 12 assists, guiding Almeria to second place on the standings and a win away from securing automatic promotion to the top division.
Regardless of the outcome this season, Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis will reportedly go all out to secure the services of the player.
Currently, Umar Sadiq’s is valued at €18 million per Transfermarkt and he still has three years on his contract.
Purchased from Partizan for just €2 million, UD Almeria might hold out for a fee in the region of €25 million, but will start listening to offers at €30 million asking price.
Last season, the Nigerian forward could not secure a move away from the team despite the interests from LaLiga teams as well as offers from abroad.
However, it’s almost certain that Sadiq would leave in the summer for a bigger team and his destination will, preferably, be to any of Europe’s top divisions.
It will also be a team with the potential to reach any of Europe’s inter club competition.
