Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has described his excitement with the move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
Awoniyi penned a five year contract with the Bees and became their first summer signing.
“I’m very excited to be here at Nottingham Forest,” said Awoniyi following his move to The City Ground.
“It’s always been my dream to play in the Premier League and having spoken to Steve Cooper about our ambitions and looking at Forest, with its great history, it’s a club that I want to be part of.” He said.
The 24 year-old Forward only joined Union Berlin on a permanent deal last summer from Liverpool – after a loan season with them the previous season.
His excellent campaign forced Nottingham Forest to pay a whopping sum of £17.5m for his services.
He netted 20 goals in all competition for the German side last season.
