Nigerian Striker Emmanuel Dennis scored twice for his Belgian side Club Brugge in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions league tie with Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.
Emmanuel opened the scoring on the 9th minute to send the away fans into dreamland.
The striker doubled his side’s lead in the 39th after he benefited from a sloppy play from Luka Modric to breaks away through the middle before getting past Courtois.
He had the chance to make it three in the second half , but Alphose Areola who replaced Courtois in Madrid’s goal denied him from close range.
However Real Madrid reduced the deficit shortly through Sergio Ramos headed home from a Karim Benzema cross ten minutes into the second half.
The 71st minute saw Lois Openda replace two goals hero Emmanuel Bonaventure, putting an an end to a great performance from the Nigerian.
Casemiro netted the equalizer a minute after Club Brugge from a free kick by Toni Kroos in the 84th minutes.
Club Brugge held on to take a valuable point back home from a difficult ground.
