It was a busy night for Innocent Bonke when Chelsea came to town in a Champions League group H match on Tuesday night.

Bonke and his Malmo teammates had a chance to avenge the 4-0 defeat to Chelsea from the first-leg in London, but it didn’t happen.
Although the Nigerian midfielder was impressive against Thomas Tuchel’s side, Moroccan Hakim Ziyech tapped home the winning goal.

Chelsea created and spurned several goalscoring opportunities but settled for a 1-0 victory.
Innocent Bonke stacked the stats sheets with his defensive duties on the night.
He made 9 tackles, 1 interception, 3 clearances and won 1 aerial duel as Malmo frustrated the visitors.
Following the defeat, Malmo have now been eliminated from the UCL, with four defeats in as many games, conceded 12 goals and have scored none.
