Tanzania U23 Men’s Olympic Team coach, Hemed Seleman is confident ahead of the tie against Nigeria, and insists his players wouldn’t fret.
In a chat with FL, Seleman said he is relaxed ahead of the first-leg U24 AFCON qualifier this weekend.
‘My Players are in good spirit and are ready to face the Nigerian Olympic team. We also have players who joined us from their clubs in Europe.
‘ There’s experience in the squad to match the Nigerians, whom I assume believe they are favorites.’
Coach Hemed explained that they have to trust and believe in themselves to cause an upset against Nigeria as they really want to win.
‘It won’t be one sided as many believe it would be. But causing an upset won’t be easy, but we have the entire nation behind us and we are highly motivated.’
