Flying Eagles assistant coach, Fatai Amoo says the players need to be tough mentally and ready to take on the big task when the FIFA U20 World Cup gets underway.

Amoo explained that the coaches will do their best to get the team ready, but admits that some of the players might find the World Cup overwhelming.

“The big stage will pose either fear or motivation for the players,” the Flying Eagles Coach told FL.

“It is always a question of some players living up to expectations while some may fidget.”

“That is where psychology comes in too, it’s not only about physical training, the psychological aspect of the game and the mental part of it, they all have to be combined, because it is not a small task, this is a big challenge.”
