Nigeria will take on the Uganda, Today, in the Quarter-final of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations, and former Nigerian forward Femi Opabunmi is banking on the Flying Eagles will go through.

Besides the progress to the last four, winner of the encounter is also guaranteed a spot at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia and Opabunmi has warned that the Ugandans will be a tough nut to crack.

The Young Cranes have been gliding in Egypt, they are among four teams in the Quarter-finals that have not lost a game in the competition.

“The game will not be easy for the flying Eagles, because when you watch the first match against Senegal, they lacked a lot but the second match they picked up a little bit against Egypt. Although the Young Pharaohs dominated the first half, we were lucky to come out with the win at the end.”

“So against Uganda today, we have to be serious from the first minute, because I checked the team and observed that in the first half they don’t put up their best. They are a second half team.

“I know they (Flying Eagles) have a very experienced coach, I know he would have seen into that and talk to them and I know that they will come out successful today. Uganda can’t stop us, we will go there for victory, and victory is ours,” Opabunmi told FL.
