Gambia U20 MNT head coach, Abdoulie Bojang has confessed that the semi-final clash against Nigeria will be a fiercely tactical battle.
On Monday at the Cairo International Stadium, Gambia and Nigeria will clash in the semi-final of the U20 Africa Cup of Nation.
The small West African nation have gained a reputation among fans in the tournament, and are regarded as one of the best so far in the competition.
Additionally, Gambia are on a run that includes a hundred percent winning streak and clean sheets. They have scored nine goals, including the 5-0 annihilation of South Sudan in the quarter-final.
In spite of their strong display in the competition, Abdoulie Bojang expects that Nigeria will be a different level of competition.
“It is going to be a tactical battle,” Bojang stated. “We will respect them and put up a respectable performance on the pitch.”
