Nigeria’s U20 MNT, the Flying Eagles, rounded up their training camp in Morocco with a 6-1 win over Kawkab Athletics Club U23 team.

It was meant to be the last test for the team before jetting off to Egypt ahead of the Africa U20 Cup of Nations championship.

After defeating Congo 2-0 in their first friendly game, the encounter against Kawkab was over as a contest within the first 30 minutes as Mohammed Aminu, Ibrahim Mohammed and Samson Lawal scored to give the team a comfortable 3 goal cushion, but Kawkab pulled one back before the Break.

Right after the interval, Nigeria picked exactly where they left off and goals from Emmanuel Uchegbu, Augustine Njoku and Jonathan Nicholas was enough to complete the rout over the helpless Moroccan team.

The Flying Eagles will be feeling in good form after the recent victories and will be hoping to immediately get off the mark when they take on Senegal in the first group game on Sunday at the Cairo international stadium.

Nigeria is drawn in Group A with Senegal, Egypt and Mozambique and will be aiming to at least reach the semi-finals of the tournament to qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup and will be heading into the encounter in great form.
