Ahead of Wednesday’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup semi-final show down against Colombia, Confluence Queens coach Ogbonda Whyte believes that the visit of NFF president, Ibrahim Gusau, will not put pressure on the Nigerian girls.
In a chat with FL, Whyte said the Flamingos will feel encouraged and motivated by the visit of the NFF leadership.
On if Nigeria would have gotten an easier job if Tanzania and not Colombia had progressed to the semi-final, the Confluence Queens Coach argued gaffer suggested that no team is a push over.
‘They must have worked their way to that stage of the competition. They would definitely put their best resistance against Nigeria, just as the Colombians will surely do.’
