Two Super Eagles On UECL Goal of the Season List

Super Eagles and OGC Nice forward, Terem Moffi, has received the esteemed recognition of UEFA Europa Conference League Goal of the Season for his extraordinary acrobatic goal in his club’s 2-2 draw against Basel.

This prestigious award acknowledges the exceptional skill and athleticism displayed by Moffi in the process of scoring the goal.

 

In the second position, Lazio’s influential striker Ciro Immobile claimed recognition for his exceptional winning goal against Cluj in February. The goal showcased Immobile’s skill and precision.

Taking the third spot was Andy Diouf, who was honoured with the Young Player of the Season award. Diouf’s impressive strike against Žalgiris on matchday five of the competition secured his position in the top three. It is worth noting that the talented Basel youngster had two entries in the top ten rankings.

Securing the fourth place was Villarreal’s Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze, with his impressive volleyed strike during the thrilling 4-3 victory over Bulgarian club Lech Poznań.

The Super Eagles Forward’s goal highlighted agility and technique as he played a crucial role in his team’s success.
