Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has hailed the team’s performance against Brazil in an International friendly at Kallang National Stadium in Singapore.
Ekong captained Nigeria against the five-time World Champions on Sunday and the Eagles played out a 1-1 result.
Joe Aribo opened the scoring in the 35th minute, but the Brazilians clawed back, equalizing through midfielder, Casemiro early in the second half.
Ekong took to his social media to commend his teammates for their credible performance against the South American champions.

After two friendly against Ukraine and Brazil , Super will now turn their attention to November’s 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers with Squirrels of Benin Republic and Lesotho.
