Turkish champions Trabzonspor aren’t giving up hope of landing Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong from Watford.
Trabzonspor are keen on taking the Nigeria international on a season-long loan with an option to buy, but the offer was rejected.
A improved new bid will for the player will be submitted this week for Ekong, several reports in Turkey have confirmed.
Ekong has a contract at Watford until mid 2025, and he’s currently out of favor at the club.
He’s yet to start a game for the Hornets this season, his only appearance this season came against West Brom on the 8 of August.
The former Bursaspor man came on as a second half substitute.
