Defender Jordan Torunarigha has promised to justify his national team call up and plans to endear himself to Nigerians.

Torunarigha who is born in Germany and represented them at various youth levels eventually opted to play for Nigeria as a full international.

Speaking with FL, the Youngster said he is happy to be in the Super Eagles team and hopes to deliver.

“My first call-up is to get some playing time and show the fans who are criticizing me for denying Nigeria, which is not true and just to make them feel happy and give them something back.”

“They should expect a hungry young guy who wants to show the world what he can do.

“I’m still not that young, but I’m still a young player. I want to show everybody criticized me before that I’m here to help the team.”
