Niger Tornadoes midfielder Mustapha Aliko believes the side still stands a chance to undo their wrong from the CAF Confederation Cup first-leg preliminary round match against Santoba, this weekend.

Tornadoes were stunned at home in a 2-1 defeat in the first-leg, and now face elimination from the competition.

Speaking ahead of this weekend’s game, Aliko told footballlive.ng that the fightback will be more mental for the team.

“We have to be mentally fit, this is not Nigerian league this is CAF Confederation cup so there are many things involved.” Aliko said.

“You have to make up your mind to do it better in the second game because we have a chance. I strongly believe in our boys that we can do it.”
