Nigeria’s Men NT, the Super Eagles return to action in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifies, the last time around the team tutored by Portuguese coach, Jose Peseiro, steamrolled Sao Tome and Principe 10-0.

Since then though, the Eagles have failed to win a game and are on a three-match losing streak.

Peseiro, 62, lost to Algeria, Costa Rica and Portugal; his defense conceded 8goals in the process and lost all three games.

This Friday, the team would hope to stem that tide when Nigeria hosts Guinea-Bissau in a matchday 3 fixture at the MKO Abiola Stadium.

Not only do they top the group with two wins from two, the Eagles are two wins away from securing a ticket for the Cup of Nations in 2024.

Definitely, Jose Peseiro will count on Victor Osimhen, his in form striker to lead the attack and deliver goals.

The team’s attack is its strongest department on paper, the Portuguese tactician will have to conjure up a more than decent set up in midfield and defence, both considered the weak links in the team.

However, on paper, this is expected to be an easy win for the Three-time African champions.
