Abia Warriors coach Emmanuel Deutsch believes the NPFL has experienced a tremendous improvement compared to past seasons.
Deutsch insists the standard of officiating has improved and urged teams to keep working hard until the league reaches the expected level.
Deutsch’s side left Port Harcourt unscathed, last Sunday, after holding Rivers United to a scoreless draw at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium Port Harcourt.
“Football is something you cannot predict. You must merit penalty before it will be awarded, this season is not as business as usually,” Deutsch said.
“This is one of the most difficult NPFL seasons I have seen. We train so hard for each game because there are no easy matches anymore.” He concluded
