Enyimba FC Chairman, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, has praised the team for winning the 2023 Nigeria Premier League and has noted the next objective is for the team to claim its place among the Continent’s Elite Clubs.

The NPL Super 6 ended, Sunday, where Enyimba emerged winners after finishing top of the standings.

In his reaction to the Club’s success in this campaign, Anyasi-Agwu praised the front office for the commitment to ensure the team improved and stayed on course.

“It has to do with showing commitment, having direction, knowing the path to follow,” the Enyimba Chief noted.

“Having a good team, I couldn’t have done it alone. I have a team and my team is working, I have a team that is always brainstorming; always want to do better than the past.”

He also stated that the team will seek to compete for the CAF Champions League title next season.

“This is just the beginning, Enyimba is coming to the continent and we will show the world that we can do it.”
