Naples saw a spectacle on Thursday night in the Europa League fixture that pit Napoli against CSKA Moscow and Victor Osimhen against Victor Moses.

Osimhen came off the bench to score, Moses tormented the hosts and there were two sending offs; Luciano Spalleti one of them in the final moments of the five-goal thriller at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The hosts started brightly after Elif Elmas scored in the opening minute of the game, but soon they were stunned as LB Mario Rui was shown a straight red after the Referee consulted VAR.
Following the sending off, CSKA took the initiative and 10 minutes inside the second-half Dutch attacker Quincy Promes brought them level then Mikhail Ignatov put them in the lead with 20 minutes left to play.
They stretched the lead to two goals as Promes scored his second on the night before Napoli responded through second half substitute, Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen finished with a clinical strike from a brilliant build-up as he was set up by Giovanni Di Lorenzo.
The game eventually descended into a melee on the sidelines after Spalleti was booked for confronting the opposition bench.
“Nothing happened…” the Napoli Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“I simply went to salute one of the Spartak collaborators, because he mocked us for the entire second half. I just wanted to shake his hand.”
The game eventually ended 3-2 in favor of the visitors as they pick their first win of the competition, while Napoli are still winless in two group games.
